If you are working on a new driver, it is probably a good idea to start by building it as a plugin driver. There is an example included in the player source. It is much easier to get started with plugin drivers and rebuild times are much shorter.

2008/4/30 mmday <marmotasday@hotmail.com>:

I'm programming a Lynx-6 robotic arm with Player 2.1.
I want to use the eeDHcontroller driver, with limb and actarray interfaces,
to control the arm. Is this driver included in Player, otherwise I must
compile it myself. I've read that "you will need to edit acinclude.m4 as
well to include your driver and make sure it is enabled in configure", I've
enabled in configure but I don't know how to add in acinclude.m4, can anyone
help me?
