2008/6/18 WANG Wei <wangwei717@gmail.com>:
Hello,

I tested the ogre and glxgears, it works well.
But I still have the problem of Segmentation fault when it came to here:

Gazebo Path[/usr/local/share/gazebo]
Ogre Path[/usr/local/lib/OGRE]
[server/Simulator.cc:361]
  Creating GUI:
    Type[fltk] Pos[0 0] Size[640 480]
creating /tmp/gazebo-weiwang-0
creating /tmp/gazebo-weiwang-0/simulation.default 112 688
[server/sensors/Sensor.cc:94]
  cam1_sensor sensor has no controller.
creating /tmp/gazebo-weiwang-0/position.position_iface_0 112 220
Segmentation fault

what the problem is ?

Regards,

Wei

2008/5/14 Jordi Polo <mumismo@gmail.com>:

It seems that the only dependency with Ogre they have is a game called funguloids in multiverse but it is wrongly packed. So no testing application in the package manager.

There is no alternative Radeon driver or something like that?

Hi All

I have the exact same problem as Wangwei.

IBM T41 laptop with Radeon 7500
Ubuntu 8.04
ogre from Ubuntu distro (has no demos included - I can't find them anyway
:-) )
SVN PSG
radeon OpenGL driver

glxgears working

Gazebo crashes and the debugger narrows it down to radeon_dri.so
