Prabhu,

what do you mean by axis?
I can clearly see X-value, Y-value and time in my window.

Your previous attachment was probably deleted by the bot managing the list.

Try to post it somewhere and giving us a link to it.

Regards

Claudio

Subject: Re: [Playerstage-users] axis not visible in player stage window for simple.cfg

Hi Claudio,
Thanks for your reply.
I need to know where the robot is moving instantaneously while doing my experiments.
So I need it to visualise the data.
By the way, the axis are also not visible. Is there any way to make the axis visible?
Thanks,
-Prabhu

Hello Prabhu.

To really make something out of the data, you need to log to a file, "seeing" data is no use.

To accomplish this you can add a logger to the simple.cfg file like this

driver

(

  name "writelog"

  log_directory "/home/erupter/PlayerStage/saveddata"

  basename "mydata"

  requires ["sonar:0" "position2d:0"]

  provides ["log:0"]

  alwayson 1

  autorecord 1

)

Now this is configured to save to -> MY <- home directory, so you have to use a path that actually exists in your system.

It saves a series of auto-incremented files whose name starts with "mydata".

Information saved is sonar (now deprecated) and position.

Check the driver's documentation page for more information.

Regards

Claudio
