Ok i managed to understand my own error (been trying for two days now...)

Examples ought to be compiled in /usr/local/shared

Thank you for your patience

Subject: [Playerstage-users] Unable to compile examples

Hello to all.

I know this is a pretty simple matter, but i haven't been able to fix it myself.

I installed playerstage and it's working (tried both player and stage and they do work).

Then i configured the examples in a new directory.

I tried three options

-configure the examples directory

-configure the libplayerc directory

-configured the libplayerc++ directory

each one, when i launch the make command, fails.

says it can't find playerc.h

I suspect it has something to do with my environment variables.

Using kubuntu 10.04 and  ubuntu 10.04 (have the same problem on both systems).

My envs are

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib64

CPATH=/usr/local/include:/usr/include

and the PKG_CONFIG_PATH that i can't remember right now.

What can i do?

Thank you
