I am trying to get an array into my shader that contains a number of points. The number of points can change from one object to another. Similar to the polygon parameter "p".
I would like to avoid parsing a string of a file but if I have to I will. Any suggestions? and thanks

A way to do is to define a vertice class primitive variable with the primitive geometries you want to pass the values to your shader.
And then you declare the shader parameter with the same name as your primitve variable
