Computer Players Quit

    I've noticed that the computer players quit frequently.  It happens randomly.  Some games yes, some games no.  I've have definitely noticed it happens when the computer player reaches 4 points.  I then send in another computer player who takes his place, then quits.  I can't finish a game on these.  It at least showed up on the archipeligo w/ gold game board.  This is svn from may 12.

      Thanks for reporting this.  I cannot reproduce it though.  Does the AI chat before quitting?

      What would be really helpful is a full log of a game where the AI crashes.  Could you start a game from the terminal and send me the output?  You can put it in a file with the command:
      pioneers &> /tmp/pioneers.log
      Or just copy-paste it, but the terminal scrollback may not be large enough.

      No, nobody says anything, it just happens.  This is a log of the setup.  It happened on the first turn this time.  But it doesn't have to.

      Thanks for the info.  I've fixed this problem.  The svn now (revision 1051) contains the fix and should work.  If it doesn't, or you have any other problems, please let us know.

    I've got the same problem.
    Befre the computerplayer quits, he said something.
    Unfortunately I dunno how to summon a new player.

    Thanks for reporting this.
    Your report is a little bit too short for me to help fix the problem.
    - What does the computer player say before it quits?
    - What version of Pioneers are you running?
    - What OS are you using (Linux + distibution, Windows + version)?
    - How do you start a new game? (Using the metaserver, pioneers-server-console, pioneers-server-gtk)

    He said: "Ich werde euch alle fertig machen!" Directly after he left.
    Pioneers version is 0.12.3
    When it happened first time it happened with Windows 7 Starter, second time I used Debian Squeeze.
    Both times I startet the game with my client over the Internet.
