Hello, I would like to know if the add of the choice to use the system sound in the sound events (seems still unavailable in Gaim 0.74) is planned ? This is described in the RFE : http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=235&atid=350235&func=detail&aid =803622 That's feature would be usefull for deaf people. Why ? The call of the system sound can makes some visual effects that are defined in the OS. (ex. In Windows, there is the Accessibility tools --> Sound tabs where you can have the screen flashing when the system sound is played). Note that Gaim don't have to take the sound file defined as the system sound, I think that Gaim must call the system API in order to gives the possibility to the OS to detect that call and so, triggers the accessibilty tools (flash, text, display,...). That feature would be really usefull for deaf people ! Will Gaim support that ? Thanks in advance for your feedbacks about that RFE :-) -- ------------------------------------------ Bruno Baguette - bou...@ba... |
