However, that would only happen if many many many users complain that the feature is missing. Counting the number of people in favor versus the number of people against probably isn't very accurate in this case, because I don't think many people are going to say, "hey, this little red X is annoying the sap out of me!" It's more likely they would just see the little red X and not know what it means, and then they'll feel a little more alienated from Gaim. "Oh boy, this 'Gaim' program sure is complicated. So many doodads and thingamajigs! I'm going to go back to using Windows Messenger, where I feel safe and welcome." -Mark |
