This is the same GTK bug that renders gaim 1.1.3 unusable on Win98/ME (it has been fixed in Glib CVS and will be in the next Glib release). I hoped to get a patched glib released with 1.1.4, but there were some complications. The reason it crashed in 1.1.3 was a gaim bug that Stu fixed.
