Here is version 1.0.0. This was supposed to be 0.10.0 but there was a problem with the version comparison algorithms in phpws-0.9.3-4 and rather than wait for the upcoming fix I just bumped. Anyhoo, this is a pretty major change, notably the new layout and avatar system.... read more

For some reason I had made use of PHPWS_File::makeDir(), even though it doesn't exist in phpWebSite 0.9.3-3, just >= 0.9.3-4. I didn't notice because the bug only makes itself known on fresh installs, not updates, where I didn't call that function, simply because I forgot to update the mkdir() call.... read more

ACHTUNG! phpwsBB will only be supported in phpWebSite 0.9.3-2 or later. phpWS 0.9.3-1 has many bugs that have been fixed in 0.9.3-2, and I'm not going to hunt down and fix any more bugs in old core when there is a better version out there anyway. Note that you will need my fixed Database.php for 0.9.3-2:
http://phpwsbb.sourceforge.net/Database0932.zip

Just an FYI that when I do release 0.7.0, it will only be available for phpWebSite 0.9.3-2 core or higher. I keep finding more and more bugs in 0.9.3-1 and making newer and newer supplemental files is getting to be a headache. Besides all the supplements in the world aren't going to get you the fantastic speed increases in 0.9.3-2.
However there is a bug in 0.9.3-2's core Database.php where the function to create indexes doesn't take table prefixes into account. Obviously this only affects you if you use table prefixes. I have a fixed version here:... read more

I finally got around to changing the method of marking threads as locked or sticky. Using newer phpWS 0.9.3 functionaly to change labels on the fly so I don't need to use the ugly kludge of hacking the label and storing it. The update script should be able to fix labels for existing threads.... read more

phpwsBB-0.3.1 fixes the most obvious problem of anonymous/guest posters not having their name show up in the thread list. Site admins can use the PHPWSBB_MAN_OP=update_all_threads to run the function that will update all threads to grab the guestname if the thread owner is blank. I definitely recommend doing this, but strongly recommend backing up your data first in case I missed something.... read more
