I tried that. It looks awful on my Windows server. Dates appear as "02/27/2002" (even though my Windows locale settings specify the UK convention of 27/2/2002, and I prefer February 27, 2002 in any event), and times appear as 08:23:45 (and I would prefer them with the seconds part). You can, of course, specify the settings in the theme itself, by overriding the setDateFormat and setTimeFormat funcitons.
