There are some bug fixes and improvments in the documentation. However there is still too much to be done until the documentation is complete. I made this release because a long time has passed since the last release. So, the aim of the next release still remains the improvment of the documentation.

The most important change since the last release is the support for
i18n/l10n , which means translating messages of the application
to other languages. There are other improvments and bugfix-es as well
(see change log for more details).

The main goal of the next release (whenever I have time to work on it)
will be to improve the documentation of the framework.

In this release, the old parser is replaced by a new xml parser.
In the next release are expected some documentation updates and
improvments, any small changes and bug fixes etc. The time for
the next release is not decided yet.

phpWebApp is a framework for building web applications based on relational databases. phpwebapp-1.0 has a new tutorial, improved documentation, code documentation (generated automaticly by phpDocumentor and doxygen), small fixes, etc. It can be downloaded at: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=41147

This may be the latest release for a long time (many months)
because I cannot predict right now when I will be able to do

I am sure that anybody that has developed desktop applications (with
VB, Glade, KDevelope, etc.) and is also an experienced web application
developer (with PHP, Perl, etc.), will be able to testify that desktop
applications can be developed much easier and can be made much
flexible and user friendly compared to web applications. Probably you
have wondered why web application development is so difficult and you
may have some ideas about these difficulties... read more
