First let me start by saying how great phpweather is! My compliments to the other authors who not doubt have spent a lot of time and effort creating such a solid Open Source project. Second, I want to introduce all of you to a project I've been a part of named Geeklog (http://geeklog.sf.net). Geeklog is a 'blog', otherwise known as a Weblog. It allows you to create your own virtual community area, complete with user administration, story posting, messaging, comments, polls, calendar, web links, and more! It can run on many different operating systems, and uses PHP4 and MySQL. My point in all this is that I recently implemented a Geeklog module or block using phpweather as the foundation (phpweather 1.61). The module is designed to display customizable weather information. I'd like to get your thoughts on what I've done in hopes of starting a dialogue with you to enhance future releases. You can view the module on my site: http://www.squatty.com <http://www.squatty.com/> . It's located on the right side about halfway down the page. Thanks! -- Danny Ledger (a.k.a squatty) da...@sq... http://www.squatty.com |
