I've developed a couple classes which could be useful with phpSlash (and
Back-End). I'd like to know how to best contribute them back to the
community. To try to focus discussion/interest around these I've tried
to break them into their respective pieces.
The first one is the file upload class that I've developed. I know some

via php (and there are good security reasons for this). However, most
folks don't want to just toss everything in a database (for speed &
I've combined two existing classes (taken from
http://phpclasses.websapp.com) XUpload and ViewDir and then expanded on

phpSlash 0.65) and a Profiles application (which is based on phpSlash
It allows you to restrict which files you want uploaded, determines the

I think it's a pretty useful tool. Hoping to include smart text
features (like in Back-End 0.4.8.1) to allow <###IMG1###> or something
of the like to produce an image. Have to decide on a nomenclature for
the new BE code though.
I'm likely going to roll up the simplified version of this class and
submit a new class to phpclasses, but it fits so very nicely with
phpSlash I thought I'd post a note about it here as well.
