[phpslash-users] Column width

I've created a navbar block with width=160 and column=left. It appears on 
the left but the width setting doesn't seem to apply. 

If I move the "Topics" block over to the left, the column gets wider, but if 
I move it back to the right, the left column shrinks again. 

Any ideas?
