Read and respond to this message at: http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=1630931 By: nobody I'm having the same problem, but HAVE configured my config.inc.php. I'm running a default installation of Postgres 7.2 on RedHat 7.3. Redhat has it's own startup script in /etc/init.d/postgresql, so I'm not sure about the -i option. However, I'm able to connect fine using pg_connect() from a webpage. I made the line tcpip_socket = true in /var/lib/pgsql/data/postgresql.conf and still get the same error message. My pg_hba.conf reads like this: local all trust host all 127.0.0.1 255.255.255.255 trust local all ident sameuser My config.inc.php settings are like this: $cfgServers[1]['local'] = true; $cfgServers[1]['host'] = 'localhost'; $cfgServers[1]['port'] = '5432'; $cfgServers[1]['adv_auth'] = false; $cfgServers[1]['user'] = 'postgres'; $cfgServers[1]['password'] = ''; $cfgServers[1]['only_db'] = ''; What's wrong!!! Thanks. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
