After creating a new database I used phpMyAdmin to create a table. I filled in the table name and number of fields (test, 2) and pressed Go. PhpMyAdmin returned the following error:

Error

MySQL said:
The field count is empty!

I have triple checked to make sure a value was submitted in the Number of Fields textbox.

This installation of PhpMyAdmin 2.9.1 is on a Windows XP pro system running Apache 2.2, PHP 5.2.0 and MySQL 5.0.27.

Cannot reproduce. Could you try xampp.org (I know it's not exactly the same versions of components) and give me some feedback?
You could even install your phpMyAdmin 2.9.1 inside the xampp directory.

xampp currently uses php 5.16 (known to not working correct with pma29x)
