Hi,

I am getting a very strange bug with phpMyAdmin where
none of the images in the template show up, but the
strangest thing is that whatever link I click,
phpMyAdmin redirects the browser window to a website
which I have never heard of before,
www.varbusiness.com. This happens for every link on the
main page, which means I can't acctually do anything.
When using the drop down database selector the website
opens in the sidebar as you can see in the attached image.

Cheers

Moved to support. I'm sure this is not a phpMyAdmin bug,
probably a problem in your server environment, like a
permission problem. Can you describe your server environment?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply

I am running apache server on my Fedora Core 4 box with PHP
5.0.4 and MySQL 4.1.11. It is currently running as
localhost. The phpMyAdmin folder is set to CHMOD 777.

I can't understand how it can be a problem with my server,
and I have never heard of this website before nevermind
visit it, so why it is redirecting me to it I have no idea.

The FC4 box has recently had a clean upgrade which brought
with it PHP 5, as I had been using PHP 4. But barley any
settings have been changed from the basic OS setting as I
was just getting my webserver working first.

    Cheers

Your case is not the first I read about. Unfortunately, I
cannot remember what was causing this problem. Are you
    running Zend Optimizer?

One thing is for sure: there are no references to the
"varbusiness" site in our source code.

    Hi,

I don't know what Zend optimizer is other than it must have
somthing to do with PHP. Unless it comes with a default
install of PHP 5 I shouldnt have it because I havn't
installed it. All that has beein installed so far on my box
sofar is LAMP including all the core Fedora files and
programs, Blender, Bluefish editor and phpMyAdmin (the
version that I am having the problems with.)

Anything there that can cause this problem?

    Cheers

If I can offer a suggestion here; check your config.inc.php
-- the PmaAbsoluteUri should be blank (as in ='';) as per
    the docs and code comments.

Marc, I believe this was the problem with at least one of
the previous similar cases, perhaps not the one you're
    remembering, though.

    check your
    config file
    $cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] 'most be blank here'
