phpMyAdmin 3.4.0, also tried latest 3.5 , in which it is partly fixed.
I tried a Win32 server, and then duplicated it on a CentOS5 server.
When I select any server except "current connection" then a number of input boxes appear for server, port, username, password etc.
The problem is: I cannot enter any data into them. I can click in them but no cursor appears, and no data can be typed in.
In the latest version of 3.5 master--20110516-022001, the password and db fields can be edited, but I cannot change the default user name.
In 3.4.0, the Linux server prefills the user name with "root", but the Win32 one does not.

Win32 Versions: XP SP3 (fresh install), Apache 2.2.18, php 5.2.17 (VC6 TS), Mysql 5.1.57.
CentOS 5.5 versions: Apache: 2.2.3-45 php 5.2.10-1 Mysql 5.0.77-4

PHP modules (CentOS):
bz2 calendar ctype curl date dbase exif filter ftp gd gettext gmp hash iconv json ldap
libxml mbstring mcrypt mysql mysqli openssl pcntl pcre PDO pdo_mysql pdo_sqlite posix pspell readline Reflection session
shmop SimpleXML snmp sockets SPL standard sysvmsg sysvsem sysvshm tokenizer wddx xml zip zlib
Clients:
FF 4.0.1 and IE 8 under WinXP
FF 3.6.17 under Win7 and under CentOS
