Hi,

I like the app, will it sometimes support some sort of API to allow automated configuration of prefixes etc. ?

I would find this feature very useful as well. API that allows not only adding or removing IPs but also viewing IP information and maybe even searching.

It would be nice to have such a REST Api. So that we can try to integrate all these great softwares with each other and automate a lot !

There is nothing more terrible than having an information in different places and to wonder which one is still the true and valid one.

An API would be a slam dunk for getting this already awesome tool integrated in to existing tools. I echo everything that has been said.

+1 here, I've been looking for a nice looking open source IPAM solution to integrate with VMware vCenter Orchestrator and had really hoped that this had a REST api... Perhaps in the future... If it is there as of this post then cool, but the documentation on the public site is sparse - only a mention of API 1.0, but no details beyond that changelog entry.

Well, there is base for REST API, I will try to add more controllers etc for next release. You must enable API under settings>IPAM settings, and than you get new option under config, all required information is in api/ folder.

Until now there was not much request for this, but will extend it for next release.

I am currently rewriting all functions to appropriate classes. After this is done they will be reused for API, in v1.2
