Just Installed and got the errors shown below.
I set everything to 777 before running the installer.
I am using the MySQL db option.

DEBUG: authentication of user '*username*' FAILED in file index.php at line 457
WARNING: $config['use_session'] is set to 1 in the config file but the server session_save_path is currently not writable - correct the directory problem or disable the sessions use in file index.php at line 363
ERROR: Authentication failed, invalid login/password in file index.php at line 458
--- end error messages ---
Not sure what I may have done wrong. Any suggestions to fix this so I may get it up and running?

Slept on it and tried again. I in fact did not have everything set to 777 and I think I had an illegal character in the password I was going to used. Corrected all of the above and I now have a successful install.
