No

I make automatic backups of the database everyday to prevent loss of data due to human error etc.
When I restore a backup it seems that the counters (visits counter and page counter) are not restored.
Searching through the system told me that they are not part of the database but are stored in a file on the disk.

Is it possible to include them also in sql? Maybe it also speeds up the availability of the page when requested.

I have just submitted a change to SVN which allows database updates to be made without reimporting gedcoms.

We can now implement this change.

    Done! New table, pgv_hit_counter.

I've extended it slightly, so we can now count hits for other sorts of
pages, such as families, sources, etc. These can be enabled simply, if
    there is public demand.
