PGV will not honour any requests to upload either a new GEDCOM or a replacement GEDCOM. After entering all the pertinent details of the GEDCOM configuration and clicking the "Save" button, PGV simply returns to the same Upload form with the file name field made empty.

The problem is caused by missing documentation in the PHP import_request_variables() function. This function *always* imports the _FILES array, and that is not documented anywhere.

The home-grown import_req_variables() function has been updated to make the importing of the _FILES array optional, and the call to this function in editconfig_gedcom.php has been changed to add _FILES to the list of arrays to import.

The attached file should fix the compatibility issues introduced in PHP 5.4.0.

Download the attached ZIP file and expand it on your local PC. Copy the result to the server directory where PhpGedView is installed.

Three files should copy to that directory, and one file should copy to the subdirectory "includes/functions". These are the same files that were updated in SVN 7075 and then again in SVN 7078 and then again in SVN 7079.
