I use PGV 4.2.2

With FTP I'm not able anymore to upload pictures into new created subdirectories. I've also no access to delete the new created subdirectory. It is also not possible to change the attributes to 777.

It is only possible to upload pictures with in PGV enabled "online editing". An upload with FTP functioned only if I had created before manually a media directory.

Perhaps this is an bug. What's your opinion? I got this hint:

This is a server configuration issue, not a bug in PGV.

On your server, you log in to FTP using one user account.
The web-server runs using a different user account.

Files created by one user account cannot be deleted by the other user account.

To make them writable, you'd need to get the web-server's account to change the permissions. A simple PHP script would do this.

    This is working as designed.
