Added a minor bug fix release, give it a try
This is a major bug fixes and new features version,
i added lot of tools and cleaned the code, hoping this time that would work everything fine!
remember you need PEAR DB classes installed in order to run philer!
even if there are still toruble using the demo, i just published an online documentation for the classes i used during the project;
i will probably compress the class under a single class with extends in next release
(on demo you can preview version 1.0a)
There could be errors with session and pear DB inclusion, i think this is due to the clustering of sourceforge, if you get errors while displaying the pages try to refresh (usually errors are about setfetchmode function and include path), Sorry for the inconvenience!!!
Philer 1.0 is out!
ive mostly rewritten it from scratch to take it to all Objectd Oriented Code;
Ive switched to Pear DB for Db interface and PHP session functions for loggin system
New release, while still working on OO programming style, i released this version which mainly is more flexible on installation, it could be installed everywhere, its less rigid on path, it has a configuration web-based utility
Updated version with some fixes and new features such as templete driven admin inetrface
See ChangeLog for details
If you downloaded Ver 0.9 of an early publishing Ver 0.95 you probably experiencing trouble and you probably got an error like:
Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in [...] on line 55
To fix it you can downlaod the 0.95 now online or you can download the fix.sql file and execute the 2 queries that are in the file on your philer database
There is a silly bug in ver 0.95, so tonight i will release 0.95c which will feature a striphtml function to avoid trouble when using html in fields;
Thanks to everyone who notified me!
Anyway, i just corrected online version, so that now its working again!
This new version has no new feature on functionality, but all the end user interface has been rewritten to work with template.php (a php library similar to Template.pm for Perl); it allows easy editing (HTML only) of interfaces;
Next release will have support for tempalte.php on Admin side too
Online demos are with latest release
We published a demo for Philer admin area at:
enjoy the test :)
I just uploaded an end user demo;
you can see it at
Soon ill upload admin interface
