Hi Help Forum,
I installed ProjectForge in Windows, it is working properly. If I wish to uninstall it, which are the steps to follow?
You only need to delete the Exe-File (or war-file if deployed as war) and the working directory you've chosen / configured. If you're not sure, where ProjectForge's working directory is located, please restart ProjectForge and see for the directory in the log output or configuration tab of the standalone version.
Please note: If you delete the working directory, all your data base entries are deleted as well!
Thanks Kai! In another subject, the log file shows MANY warnings, including one fatal [2011-04-17 21:01:02 fatal ProjectForge 3.6 (2011-03-18 07:54) initialized.] Should I be concerned about these warnings?
the warnings especially "unable to proxy …" are normal and are expected (from CGI). I don't like these messages but I've not spent any time on avoiding such messages. You can ignore them. The message "ProjectForge 3.6 (time stamp) initialized" is fatal because this message should be displayed always, also if the log level is set to the highest level. But you're right, it's a little bit confusing to log a "normal" message with a fatal log level. This message is always logged after ProjectForge is started.
I try install Projectforge 3.6.1 on Centos 5.5. I have problem on installing when i try installing i get this message "Can't launch browser: unable to find config file: /edu/stanford/ejalbert/launching/misc/linuxUnixConfig.properties". I installed using ProjectForge.jar.
you can start your browser (e. g. FireFox) manually and use the following URL as a work around:
In the meanwhile I'll have a look at the jar.
Thx for suggestion. Now i can using ProjectForge.
Hi Rengga, that's fine. We decided to update the browser launcher (the used version seems to be a little bit out-dated): https://www.projectforge.org/jira/browse/PF-297
