I'm using Soft-Driver GPU 1.17
In Breath of Fire 3 it often happens that there are
lines of black pixels at the right side of sprites.
This always happens during the intro with the two NPCs
freeing the dragon, and sometimes during battles (with
The black lines are different per texture (but stay
consistent) and thus seem to 'jump around' during
sprite animations, which makes it quite irritating.
Some animation sprite frames (from intro) seem to
simply have got the texture data wrong: here and there
a column of some pixels is "skipped". Maybe a data
alignment error in texture data or during rendering?
I already tried the few configuration options
available, but nothing changes.
It doesn't appear with Pete's OpenGL driver (default
'nice' setting), and of course not on real hardware.
