Nowadays, information plays a significant role in my life. In connection with this very appropriate introduction would be implementing the protocol SCTP \(Stream Control Transmission Protocol - «transfer protocol with flow control"\), a new version. This will provide protection against SYN-flood attacks, the establishment of a safe connection \(using a four-handshake\), as well as pleasant innovation in the form of the conservation message boundaries, multi-threading, unordered delivery, support for multiple interfaces. Implementation of this protocol allows the network to bring a new level of speed, reliability, security and data transmission capabilities over the network. Because the new protocol was created, taking into account shortcomings of TCP, in view of the network and make full use of their opportunities, and special attention was paid to safety and security.

It is high time to promote, SCTP everywhere\! Given the current active movement towards IPv6. + A lot of goodies from this extract is another good protocol SPDY. You can not hinder the development of technologies and the need to push modern protocols to the masses. It remains to convince Microsoft's usefulness and necessity of these protocols and to persuade them to intensive implementation. By the way Firefox is already implementing a protocol support SPDY \(expected in version 11\), as well as support going into the popular web-server nginx.

Auto Clear History or Limit History

A feature to auto-clear history after X number of days.

a whitelist for applications would be nice.

Take for example the app Steam. Some IP addresses from valve are blocked in the current blacklists, the program can't communicate with the master servers of Steam an doesn't start.

It could be even more powerful, however, if it were possible to perform WHOIS or even DNS look-ups from the log and history context menus.

It may not be PG's mission to provide full-blown port sniffer functionality, but it sure would be convenient to avoid piggybacking additional sniffers when PG is installed.

Last, but not least, thank you for an already very useful tool, making the internet safer for us all.

Torben K. I suggest to add auto-recovery to PG which it uses if it encounters a problem like "driver already running". It pisses off every single time I have to re-log in to get all softwares to start and everytime I do that, PG complains "driver already running".

Block the Russian Business Network

Hello all,
I love your software and suggest it to all my friends/family, etc. There has been several recent security attacks \(i.e. see MPACK, and the like\) that point to the Russian Business Network \(RBN\) as being the source of exploit code, phishing attacks, <IFRAME> injections and other scams \(see http://www.securityfocus.com/brief/608\). I was wondering if you could create a list that would block the RBN and add it to your already terrific framework\!
Thanks,

It has been almost 2 years without one. I think you should solidify any bugs in the interface and also post a solid default list. Next step would be to ensure solid weekly releases that are known to be stable before release. It would be nice to have that info \(process name would be best\) in the blocking info.

I downloaded the source code \(and I'm competent\) so perhaps with a "point to the right place" I might be able to contribute with a solution, at least for Windows.

block by country option

if not in blocklist then
