I'm in holidays the next two weeks, but I want to let you know that we're still interested to build a solution with PDFedit. I'll come back with further questions then. :-)

One question I have right now. I found replace_text-tool.exe from tools-Win32-20090712_2018 which might be useful for us building a prototype. I guess it should replace strings in PDF but I couln't get it to work. Should it work that way or did I miss something?

I don't know, as I am not an autor of the code which handles contet
stream manipulation. Jozo, what do you think?
