PDFCreator 1.7.1 released

We are happy to announce PDFCreator 1.7.1 today.

This release ensures that the pdfcmon.dll gets uninstalled on x64 systems and fixes printing after saving. Furthermore it includes some improvements in the pdfforge.dll.

PDFCreator 1.7.0 released

We are happy to release PDFCreator 1.7.0 and PDF Architect 1.1 today.

PDFCreator now produces PDF/A 2b output and has a lot of small fixes and improvements included.

PDF Architect now allows to move pages in the document by dragging and dropping them in the page preview, add lines and different shapes an a lot more. PDF Architect 1.1 is included in the PDFCreator offline setup and can be downloaded and installed during the regular setup. PDFCreator 1.6.0 released

We are happy to announce PDFCreator 1.6.0 today. This very includes our new PDF Architect which greatly enhances the capabilities of the old Architect. As the new Architect is significatnly larger, we have created an online setup which will download PDF Architect on the fly if it was selected and an offline setup that can be used when no internet connection is available or a slow download is anticipated.... read more

PDFCreator 1.5.0 released

We are happy to release PDFCreator 1.5.0 today. This release brings some improvements, like display options for PDF files (tell the Reader to start with Page X, open in full screen etc) and better Group Policy support for admins. This release also should finally solve session problems on Terminal Servers and also supports multiple sessions of a single user at the same time.

PDFCreator 1.4.3 released

We are happy to release PDFCreator 1.4.3 today. It again fixes some small bugs and also comes with some small improvements. PDFCreator now supports Tokens with parameters. When you use the DateTime token with auto-save, you can add a formatting parameter, i.e. <DateTime:yyyy> will give you just the year. This is explained in detail in the help file.

PDFCreator 1.4.0 released

We are happy to release PDFCreator 1.4.0 today. After a big bit of work, we have solved a lot of problems in the 1.3.x branch. There were some performance and ordering problems when converting a large amount of files. We have also fixed a lot of smaller, but nasty problems that were dicussed in the community.

PDFCreator 1.3.0 released

We are proud to release PDFCreator 1.3.0 to the public today. In this release, much has changed. We have replaced the RedMon DLL with own code, which no longer requires workarounds due to the Windows Vista / Windows 7 UAC safety features. It also removes the requirement to the AFPL in our package. As this changed some fundamental parts, we were reworking big parts of PDFCreator and needed much testing.... read more

PDFCreator 1.2.3 release

We are happy to publish the minor release PDFCreator 1.2.3 today. It includes an updated Ghostscript, extended versions of Images2PDF and the pdfforge.dll and some minor fixes.

PDFCreator 1.2.1 released

We are happy to release the maintenance version PDFCreator 1.2.1 today. We have greatly improved the uninstaller. Future updates will not detele the profile/printer mapping during the update.

We have also included a new Tool: Images2PDF. It allows you to quickly convert a list of images into a PDF file. Make sure to test it after the update.

PDFCreator 1.2.0 released

Today we are happy to announce PDFCreator 1.2.0. This version fixes a bug with printing from processes with lower priority like Google Chrome or Adobe Reader X. PDFCreator now also supports transparent PNG files.
