Does any PCI bridge work in Linux?

    So as the title says: Does any PCI bridge work in Linux? All i see with both the Texas Instuments and Richo chipsets in the forums is problems? Does anyone have any of these working?

      Sure, lots do.  Nearly all do.  Including Texas Instruments and Ricoh ones.  You can't judge by the numbers of messages you see here because there's a rather extreme reporting bias.  Since most laptops use TI bridges, and people who don't have problems wouldn't report that in a help forum, there will tend to be lots of reported problems with TI bridges, even if they generally work fine.
