I have seen that too. No need to delete a file, when you unmount something you're browsing, pcmanfm closes the current tab. If there is only one tab open, well, then pcmanfm closes. It's not a crash, so I was astonished at first but did not consider that a bug. And in the end, it's convenient to me, since I usually close pcmanfm after unmouting what I was browsing.
