No

If I go to the "special folder" called "computer", and click on a drive, it opens up the first application listed for 'inode/directory' in /root/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list
In the past I believe pcmanfm mounted the drive if necessary, and went into it. (This is what stuurman does, anyway... although I haven't been keeping stuurman up to date ;) ).

Are there some obscure settings somewhere that I've messed up somehow, or is it broken?
I'm using current git on Arch Linux

  • No, it is not broken, it is just no functionality is implemented. It can be done via plugin though so any volunteer may add it. Thank you very much.

    OK, thanks.
I'm also getting the same behaviour when clicking on anything in network:///
    Is that also currently unimplemented?

  • For network:/// everything should work. It worked in 1.1.x yet. It seems something got broken after all the changes in 1.2.0. I found the missing code and added it into appropriate place, check it again, please, everything should work now I believe.
Thank you very much for your testing!

  • And well, for unmounted drives (whose support is missing) the MIME type is "inode/mount-point" if you want to implement some support. The "inode/directory" should always be handled by the pcmanfm itself.
