I'm using PCManFM 0.9.7 and if I try to use "Open with.." on different file types and type an own command for example compress "%F" there is in ~/.local/share/applications a .desktop file created but ~/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list haven't an entry for it. So if I choose the next time again compress "%F" there is a second file created.
