Category: Feat Support Group: 5.7.11 Status: Open Resolution: None >Priority: 8 Submitted By: Siegfried Frosch (siegfried1) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: 5.7.2 RSRD Weapon Focus Dwarevn/Martial Waraxe Initial Comment: Hi, when creating a dwarven fighter with the feat weapon focus "(dwarven/martial) waraxe" the +1 attack bonus for the feat never gets calculated in for the attack bonus for that specific weapon. I have no idea if that is a data problem or something about the specialty that only dwarves can use the waraxe as martial weapon and a code problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2005-08-31 05:08 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 And bug - 1185315 - K ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Martijn Verburg (karianna) Date: 2005-08-31 02:44 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=252169 This bug is heavily related to bug 1080188 - K ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andrew McDougall (tir-gwaith) Date: 2005-08-26 01:34 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=208239 We've got 2 Proficiencies, when in reality it is one, with a caveat. Not a fun workaround, but the best we can do. Weapon Focus for these needs to recognize the fact and apply to both proficiencies. Since it is already recognizing [Hand] or whatever, that's prob. the way to fix this. Weapon Focus(Blah/[Hands]) or whatever should apply to both the Martial and Exotic versions. Same with any feat that does that, so Weapon Specialization, Greater Weapon Focus, Greater Weapon Specialization. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Reed Thornton (rthornton13) Date: 2004-12-17 11:00 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1001978 Tested with 5.7.11 autobuild (20041215-20-56) Appears to be a problem with the distinction between the weapon that is focused on, and the way it is weilded. char is dwarf ranger 1 with Str = 14 (+2) 1H 2H Focus Feat +3 +3 none +4 +3 Exotic (exotic is one handed weild) +3 +4 Martial (martial is two handed weild) Same behaviour with bastard sword.
