"Dependency is not satisfiable: libykpers-1-1 (>= 1.7.0-1)"
Ubuntu 12.04 (the LTS (long term support) release has 1.6.3-1
Confirmed, the same for me, just as I wanted to test it for comparison.
Ubuntu 12.04 x86_64 with backports activated.
Looks like the Yubikey libraries on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS are too old for the current build.
Best I can do is to build a version without Yubikey support on this platform. Jean, are you also running this on x86_64?
Please find in http://sourceforge.net/projects/passwordsafe/files/Linux-BETA/0.92/passwordsafe-ubuntu-12.04-LTS-0.92BETA.amd64.deb/download
A deb file that should work on this version of Ubuntu, albeit withouy YubiKey support.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks. I confirm that the deb installs correctly and the apps runs OK. I didn't understand very well what YubiKey is, but I feel I will never use this feature ;)
I replied to an earlier issue email; I didn't get a failure message but I see it got lost, sorry about that.
Yes, I'm also using amd64. I can confirm the new .deb installs OK, but after running fine for a few minutes, it crashes with SIGSEGV in wxEvtHandler::ProcessEventIfMatches().
SIGSEGV in wxEvtHandler::ProcessEventIfMatches()
After one crash it left behind a pwsafe.plk file that caused a "locked" message on startup until I deleted it.
Oh - could you provide more info about the crash - a stack trace or core dump?
Sent core dump to email@example.com
Cool. The core dump showed that the app crashed after exporting to text format. Found the bug, fixed it and updated the deb file
If you could try again, I'd be grateful.
Cool, reinstalled, so far so good, I'll update if I run into anything. Thanks!
I can confirm the latest 0.92 Beta for 12.04 LTS amd64 uploaded 3 days ago does fix the crash on Plain text export as well as the libykpers-1-1 (>= 1.7.0-1) dependancy deal. Actually installed on Mint 13 MATE.
