Using shift+double click to execute Autotype does not work.

First, it types in the user name correctly but then runs off the cliff. In my example, it opens another IE window and I can't tell what it does after that.

Worse, when it's finished not working it leaves my PC in a permanent state of CAPS lock. That is, when I press the 5 key on the top row of the keyboard I get the % symbol.

I think that this is inherently problematic, since you're most likely starting the autotype with the shift key pressed, which confuses the machine's idea of the state of the keyboard.

There's a simple workaround: Avoid mapping anything with a shift/control/alt key pressed to autotype.

I'm confused. I'm attempting to use the shift-double-click feature to execute the autotype. How could I execute this if I didn't press the shift key first? I don't know how your comment "Avoid mapping anything with a shift/control/alt key pressed to autotype." is relevant to my problem.

    Thank you.
