I've got a large number of account entries in many different sub groups. I have two groups I use often. I would like to be able to add a few shortcuts to the toolbar for easy access to the few entries I use most often. Alternatively, if I could put serveral entries into a "virtual" group, I could aggregate the entries I use most often but also keep them logically separated (for instance, one for work and one for home), etc.

Sorry, but I don't think we can do this.

However, have you used the Recent Entries History found by right clicking on the PasswordSafe icon in the system tray. You can save the list of recently used/accessed entries in the database. You can use Manage->Options; System tab to configure how many to save up to 25.

Since this is saved in the database, any updated list will only be retained if you save the database.

Here's what I do for convenience: Create a group starting with '0' (so that it will be at the top of the tree view). In that group, put in shortcuts to your favorite entries. You can then access this quickly by typing '0', enter, and arrowing to the entry you want.
The attached database illustrates this - passwword's "Sample123".
