    Or perhaps VirusTotal is giving a false negative (that is, missing something that Norton is catching)? A file that doesn't pass everybody's (up-to-date) virus scanner shouldn't be trusted by anybody. Please fix!!!

    I'm getting this error, too. Maybe try the previous version in the meantime?

    Less likely, since VirusTotal is an aggregator, running several up-to-date antivirus scanners on submitted files (see https://www.virustotal.com/en/about/).
    I consider this a false positive, and suggest you report it as such to Norton, via https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/?
    Aside from that, there's not much I can do to 'fix' this, as it's not broken...
