Hi, I just started with pwsafe. I entered new group and put entries. then I
wanted to add another group and it appeared between the entries of first
group. How can I change hierarchical order?

Just to make sure I understand:

You've created a group, say, G1, and added a few entries under it.

Next you created another group, say G2, only now it appears under G1, instead
    of at the same level.

If this is the case, the easiest fix is to add an entry under G2, and in the
"Groups" field of the entry's dialog box, replace "G1.G2" with "G2". When
you'll close the entry's dialog box, it will be created, along with the group,
    as you wished.

Don't worry about the empty G1.G2 group - once you close and then re-open
    PasswordSafe, empty groups disappear.

If this isn't the problem you're describing, please provide an example.

    Cheers,

    Rony

    @ronys: thx for answer

I tried now various steps. There is no chance to have more than 1 group on
Level 1. All further groups are installed as subgroups. I do not get it?

And . .. thx for the Link to Davids Post. But this explanation is far too
    cryptic for me.

Sorry you didn't understand but I think this statement is quite clear:

To add a group in the root (i.e. a top level group), ensure the Tree View has
some white space below any current groups and right-click there and select
"Add Group" to add the new group.
