if I have an unsername containing "@", this does not get transferd when using
autotype - e.g., username is email@example.com, antotype enters namehost.com.
I'm using version 3.07 - any chance to have autotype working?
I appreciate any tips. (I'm using this on a company computer, so updating may
be difficult - I'd prefer a workaround, but will consider having IT upgrade it
if that's the only way.)
V3.07 is very very old - just over 4 years! V3.25 is the current version and I
have just tried autotype with an "@ " symbol and it works fine for me (Vista
32-bit). Note: Windows 2000 is not supported by this release only Windows XP
I know that Company PCs are hard to upgrade (and for good reason) but you may
be able to download the zipped bin file (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pass
wordsafe/files/passwordsafe/3.25/pwsafe-3.25-bin.zip/download) and extract it into any new directory and try it for yourself. If
OK, then you can go the official route of getting your IT Department to use
the exe or msi file to 'properly' install it and replace your very old
if you can't download zip files or extract them yourself, then I am afraid the
only solution is via your IT Department and upgrading to the latest version.
