No and Yes !!!
No - you cannot edit the entry directly to add past history.
Yes - there is a workaround via XML (which will create a text file with this
entry's data IN CLEAR).
Right click on the entry concerned and export to XML. Use a good text editor
(I use Notepad++) and add the Password History fields to this entry and then
re-import the entry. After export, you might want to rename the current entry
(e.g. add "-old" to the title field) so that the imported one doesn't have its
title field changed to avoid conflicts. Note however that the new imported
entry will have a new unique identifier, which is normally hidden and will not
cause an issue. If you want to avoid this as well, then you need to delete the
original entry after export and before import (take a backup before doing any
To find the format of the Password History XML fields, just export another
entry that has some history to XML.
