No

Not 100% reproducible, but happens fairly often.

  1. Take a safe with a fairly large number of entries (mine has 250).
  2. Select an entry with a long password (e.g. length of 10)
  3. Right-click and select 'Display subset of password'
  4. press 1 2 3 to display the first three characters of the password
  5. Move focus to a different application (e.g. to type in the subset displayed)
  6. Wait until password safe auto-locks
  7. Double click on the tray to unlock password safe. The subset with the first three letters will be displayed
  8. Press backspace 5 times. This will leave only the "1" and the first letter of the password showing
  9. Press Esc. Password Safe will crash.

I haven't been able to reproduce with a test database.

I attach a minidump.

Thanks for the wonderfully detailed bug report and minidump!
I've fixed the problem, and the fix will be in the next release (commit 4488).

If you wish to download an interim version with the fix, you can find one in:
    http://pwsafe.org/tmp/pwsafe-3.26.1-bin.zip

    Cheers,

    Rony
