On the windows version you can right click a group and click add entry and it will fill in the Group to where you right clicked. In linux you right click to add group and it opens up empty and you have to define it yourself.
Is this the same problem as 3194789?
I thought it was fixed about six months back. Which version of pwsafe are you using? Something you built yourself, or the build from SF? Also, what's your Linux distro/release and the version of wxWidgets?
I downloaded the build from sourceforge for linux says version linux 0.6 (4333:4344). I am running Xubuntu 11.04 64 bit (fully up to date)
I am not sure how to find the version of wxWidgets I have installed.
On further investigation, I found and fixed two problems:
The group was not selected if it was under another group. Only groups at the top level were pre-filled in the "Add Entry" window. This is fixed.
If the group didn't have any entries, it wouldn't be pre-filled. This is fixed too.
Are you having one of these problems? If yes, they are fixed now and would be available in the next release. If you want, you can also check out the code from svn and build it yourself.
If not, can you please describe the issue in more detail? Or, can you create a test database and attach it, and give me the steps to reproduce it w.r.t. that database?
This is working when I compiled from source. I noticed that you can't move items between groups (click and drag) and you can't create a group, you right click, add group does nothing. I can open another bug/feature request for both of these if you like.
I am marking this as Fixed, since the original problem has been fixed. Please open new trackers for each of the things (drag & drop, group creation).
