I have worked on the PC version for a long time and just started to look at the Android version for my phone.

Opening my default database and looking at the default password policy, the Android version does not display the correct symbol list I have chosen (shown as a "Special set" in the Windows version). It show the PWS default set instead.

I don't have any other password policies to see if this is also the case for my own policies rather than the default policy.

      Jeff,

I know the PC version stores my default symbol set in its config file. What I am asking is that the Android version allows me to set my application preferences too and not necessarily use what you have coded in your app - i.e. via the app's preferences options.

The default password policy item is associated with the application not the file. So, the settings in the PC program are stored on the PC, and the default policy in the app is stored in the app. To share a policy, create a named policy in the program and use it as the default.

    Jeff,

I know that the PC version stores the default symbol set in its configuration file (pwsafe.cfg). What I am asking is the your Android app allows me the option to set my symbol set preferences too and not necessarily use what you have hardcoded in your app i.e. via your app's preferences/settings options.

O.K., I'm not sure if this is related: I've been using the same database (on a dropbox share) on my Mac, my PC and - via passwdSafe - on my Android tablet (Nexus 7).

since editing (and saving) the database on Android, I'm no longer able to read the database entries on the Mac.
The database opens without error. After that all the password entries are still there (I can see the Item Icons). The text on he items is either nonexistent or completely garbled. I mean totally wrong: I have an entry that displays in MIRRORED font, upside down!!! (I add a screenshot to this msg).

If I'm completely on the wrong side, please enlighten me :-)

    Oliver.

      Oliver,
Can you send a test file that exhibits the problem? A copy of the file before and after it has the problem would be useful to debug what is happening.

      Jeff
