The passreminder.preferences file is now placed in the
home dir of the user.
It's better in my opinion to place it at
~/.passreminder/passreminder.preferences
It the standard and will make the file invisible to the
user.

    I was about to request the same thing, but then saw this.

    Storing the preferences in
    ~/.passreminder/passreminder.preferences would be a lot
    nicer. It's more standard and makes it that little harder to
    accidentally delete the file while browsing your home
    directory (presuming hidden files are not set to display and
    the user is not braindead like me) ;-)
