I'm still having session issues. No matter what I try, I keep staring at "[Session not set]". Both Apache::Session and Apache::PageKit make test ok, and it is definately not a permissions issue. Here is my %session_setup: my %session_setup = ( session_store_class => 'DB_File', session_lock_class => 'File', session_args => { Directory => '/usr/local/www/sessions', LockDirectory => '/usr/local/www/locks', }, ); Both "/usr/local/www/sessions" and "/usr/local/www/locks" are chmod 777 right now, and /tmp/csvdb is also chmod 777. I get _no_ errors in any ErrorLog. I've been working on it for two days strait, and I'm at my wits end. I've tried to get it to work on two seperate machines. One is a Sparc Solaris 9 server, and the other is running Redhat Linux 7.3. Both are running mod_perl/1.2.7 with Perl v5.8.0. I tried upgrading DB_File from CPAN, and also Apache::Session and Apache::SessionX. I've also tried using plain 'File' for session_store_class, and that didn't help either. It's awful though getting so close and then staring at "[Session not set]" for two days. I'm going to have to give up soon. Does anybody have _any_ ideas? Thanks in advance for any help. --Aaron |
