When I try to confire an ssh connection that needs to use proxy, I got the following error.

Can't locate Net/Proxy.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /opt/pac/lib /opt/pac/lib/ex /opt/pac/lib/edit /usr/local/lib64/perl5 /usr/local/share/perl5 /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 .) at /opt/pac/lib/pac_conn line 698.
Use of uninitialized value $LOCAL_PORT in chomp at /opt/pac/lib/pac_conn line 678.

Use of uninitialized value $PORT in concatenation (.) or string at /opt/pac/lib/pac_conn line 751.

Can you tell me what should I do to correct that?

  • Hi!

Ok, the problem seems to be that you do not have "libnet-proxy-perl" (Debian/Ubuntu/...) package installed (which is weird, since it is a requirement at install time!).

Please, make sure you have that module installed (Net::Proxy, which on Debian and derivatives is libnet-proxy-perl).

I'm using RedHat 6.3 and cant find that package libnet-proxy

  • Ok.
On RedHat based systems, the package name is "perl-Net-Proxy" :)

Please, let me know if that was enough.
