Hi all.

One strange behaviour:

if I try a port forward, for example ssh -p 3000 -x -L 192.168.x.y:3389:localhost:3389 root@1.34.x.x, using Local Port Forwarding of PAC the real command executed I can see through ps is

sh -p 3000 -x -L 192.168.x.y/3389/localhost/3389 root@1.34.x.x

/ instead of :

So It doesn't work.

  • Hi Stefano!!

Sorry, but using "/" instead of ":" is a SSH standard, and it not only is supported and working, but it also allows you use IPv6 addresses (they sontain ":")

Your problem may be other: could you please try to remove the "192.168...." local address you are using, and try again?

Please, le mt know the results.
    - David.

    Following your advice, it works.
Mistake was 192.168.x.y put in wrong place, "bind" instead of "remote address".

Suggestions in pop up were not clear :-(

    Thanks!!

  • Hi Stefano!!

Thank you so much for your patience! (I know I should "clarify" things a little bit... my fault) :)
