- On linux server I have installed p7zip. ( p7zip Version 4.61 )
- Method of install: copy by sftp in root all files in /usr/bin/
7z
7z.so
7za
7zConf.sfx
7zr
Client7z
Codecs (folder with Rar29.so inside)
- Then, 7za works OK !!
- But, for .rar extension I tried with 7z & gave me error. The log says:
Can't load './7z.dll' (./7z.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory) Error: 7-Zip cannot find the code that works with archives.
Sorry to be so ignorant, but I'm very new at this. Thanks for any help.
